The first, "True Life: I'm Supporting My Family", was one of the most genuinely gutwrenching hours of television I've ever watched. The episode followed two young women who were their families' sole providers. The first, the unfortunately named Unique, was 21. She had given birth to a son at 17, but had made it to college and was living independently at 19, when her mother committed suicide. Unique took in her three younger sisters so that they wouldn't be split up into different foster homes. At the time of filming, the second-oldest sister was pregnant and her boyfriend had moved in.

After I posted fridays information i started having contractions and my water broke. So i called Derek and he came home, we drove to Waterloo, and just in case i was having false labor, we went to Tj Max and walked around until the contractions were too much. We went to the hospital and i was still only dilated to 1. So we waited and waited, around 4 am I finally dilated to 10. After that it was 25 minutes and he was born, my winter solstice baby. He is beautiful, a very round head for a vaginal birth. Lots of dark brown hair and currently blue eyes.
